Questions
Before your first class
General
What is 26+2?
It's the hot yoga class our regulars name most often — a set format practiced in the heated room.
What is the Original 90?
Our full 90-minute hot yoga class, and a favorite for anyone who wants the whole practice.
What is Smart 60?
A 60-minute class that's great as a regular homebase — you'll notice yourself improving week to week.
What's the difference between Hot Pilates and Hot Yoga?
Hot Pilates is HIIT-style and gets your heart rate up; our yoga classes like 26+2 and the Original 90 build strength and flexibility in the heat.
Do I need to book in advance?
Drop-ins are welcome, but classes fill up — booking ahead guarantees your spot.
Appointments
Is this good for beginners?
Yes. We have students who've been coming for over ten years and students on their first class, in the same room.
Do instructors take questions after class?
Yes, several stay after a session to talk through anything you're working on.
About
Is the room actually hot?
Yes — consistently. That's the whole point, and our regulars count on it.
How long have people been coming here?
Some of our regulars have been practicing with us for over a decade.
Are there other 105F locations?
Yes — including Wicker Park, alongside Andersonville.
Is it a good place to meet people?
Our regulars say so — showing up to class consistently is a pretty reliable way to make friends here.
Is the hallway light distracting during rest periods?
During dark rest periods some light comes through from the hallway. We're looking at window film to soften it.
Visit us
Is the studio easy to find on the first visit?
It can be tricky the first time. We're down the road from Gethsemane Garden Center — give yourself a few extra minutes, and don't be shy about following someone else in with a yoga mat.
Is there a locker room?
Yes. We don't currently stock feminine hygiene products there, but it's on our list.
Is there parking?
Paid street parking is available near the studio.
